We offer extended hours on Saturday mornings between 09:00am - 12:00pm, at the main Kingthorne Practice on Thorne Road only.

Mental Health

The Practice works with Mental Health Practitioners who are primarily based at Rutland House. They are available for Face To Face or Telephone Appointments.


You can book an appointment by calling the Surgery to make an appointment, or sending a message via AccuRx if preferred. You may also be referred by a Clinician if they feel this service may help you.


Our Mental Health Team can help anyone who wants to engage with support for their Mental Health.


They can see patients for:

  • Mild to Moderate Mental Health Complaints
  • Anxiety and Depression
  • Self-harm and Suicidal ideation
  • General mental health issues with Drug and Alcohol use (not dependence)
  • Vague/Unsure Mental Health Presentation
  • Support adults and older adults with complex mental health needs that are not suitable for IAPT provision.

Please Note: Our Team can support anyone over the age of 18. However, if you are under 18 and need help, please contact the Practice and speak to a Clinician.
